William A. White (Bill)

Attorney at Law

For more than 36 years my guiding principles are to fight hard for my clients and care for them through their most trying times. My clients are more than a case. They are people who need and deserve the finest representation I can provide.

My start came in the US Army as the head of a brigade legal section, preparing charges and handling courts-martial and administrative discharges. After law school at the University of Puget Sound/Seattle University I worked as a Deputy Prosecuting Attorney for Pierce County (I wanted to make my mistakes learning to be a lawyer working for the government and not a person).  After a few years, a prominent criminal defense attorney made me an offer I couldn't refuse and my life in private practice began.

I opened my own firm in 1980 and have enjoyed fighting for every client I have had since. I still come into work every day excited about finding a way to make it right for my client.

Matthew R. White

Attorney at Law

I was born and raised in Tacoma, WA. I am a huge Seahawks, Sounders and Mariners fan and love going to the games. In 2005 I obtained a business degree from Western Washington University. I then went on to obtain my Juris Doctorate from California Western School of Law in beautiful San Diego. I graduated Cum Laude and on the Dean's list. I received academic achievement awards in Civil Procedure, Social Media and the Law, White Collar Crimes, and both semesters of the STEPPS program which focused on advanced legal writing and actual practice within a mock law firm. While at law school I was selected for a study abroad program in Galway, Ireland, and got to achieve one of my life goals to not only visit Ireland, but to live there.

I passed the California Bar exam and was sworn in to practice in both State and Federal courts in California. I traveled home to Washington and after I passed the Washington State Bar exam I was sworn in to practice in both State and Federal court here as well.

I now get the great pleasure of working and learning with my dad, Bill White, and my sister, Erin White, and continuing on the legacy of a firm that truly cares about its clients and fights hard for them.  I enjoy the challenge of the law and I feel a great sense of accomplishment in helping people through a difficult part of their life. I believe an attorney's job is not only to focus on the case at hand but on the person as well.

Erin E. White

Attorney at Law

I was born in Tacoma, WA where I graduated from Bellarmine High School. I then went on to Gonzaga University, where I obtained a B.A. in Psychology and an Elementary Education Certificate. One of the highlights of my time at Gonzaga, besides the basketball games, was the time I spent in a study abroad program in Florence, Italy.

After graduating I made the decision to attend law school at Seattle University.  While there, I was the Executive Editor for the American Indian Law Journal. I worked at the Washington State Attorney General's Office for the Western District defending the State in civil suits.  I also worked a judicial externship for a Federal judge in the United States District Court for the Western District of Washington. I graduated Cum Laude with a Juris Doctorate. Soon after I passed the Washington State bar exam and continued my journey advocating on behalf my clients.

It has been wonderful working alongside my father and brother at out law firm. Being able to build upon the legacy of hard work and compassionate legal advocacy that my father has built for over 35 years is very fulfilling.  Currently, my focus is on civil suits including personal injury, restoration of civil and gun rights, wrongful conviction suits, and criminal defense.  Whether it's dealing with a large insurance company or the government, being able to be the advocate for someone and fight for them is incredibly rewarding. I truly enjoy coming into work everyday.
